Meet Ocean and Fire, the dynamic brother and sister duo whose musical journey is deeply rooted in the rich traditions of their upbringing. They were raised in a household where their father, a gigging musician with bluegrass and rock ’n roll roots, immersed them in the enchanting world of harmonies around the campfires and the kitchens of Nova Scotia.

From his teenage years, brother John has been strumming his guitar, crafting original songs, performing them in bands In BC, as well as touring solo throughout North America. His musical adventures have taken him from the intimate settings of small pubs and cafes to the iconic Sunset Dock on Key West. Meanwhile, sister Tracey, with her soulful and powerful voice, started singing and entertaining already at 13 and without hesitation joined forces with brother John, sharing the stage in hundreds of locations.

Ocean, Tracey, is considered to be boundless, and Fire, John, is a symbol of wisdom and knowledge. Aptly named as their musicality stretches in an all knowing yet wondrous place.  You’ll feel at ease, yet charmed and still curious as you witness them seamlessly blend original compositions with a diverse range of cover tunes.
