A dynamic piano/guitar duo made up of two old friends who love each other’s music! Matthew Presidente (piano/pop) and Brad Pedwell (guitar/rock) bring out the best in each other onstage with their original material and covers – drawn from their respective musical inspirations. All-request style show, fun banter, spontaneous performances and some great songs that will draw you in with heart and nostalgia. This is a fun, energetic show that hilights a history of friendship and collaboration.

Matthew Presidente (he/him/his): Vancouver’s piano man, Matthew Presidente is a bold rock/pop songwriter. Whether performing solo or with his full band, the high energy piano-based performer connects with the crowd through passionate performances.

Referred to as “one of — if not ¬— the best singer/songwriters our LGBT scene has” by Xtra Magazine (Vancouver), Matty left his career to pursue music full-time in 2022 – since then, he released 8 singles, toured BC, and received a Creative BC Career Development grant to fund a new recording. In 2023/24 he performed over 200 shows, including notable venues The Fox, The Rickshaw, The Chapel, The Shipyards and The Hollywood. He has been enthusiastically recognized on Pride stages across BC and Alberta. He co-wrote/performed a musical for Kelowna Fringe with drag artist Toddy.

Bradley Pedwell (he/him/his): A singer/songwriter from Vancouver BC that mixes rock, folk, and hip-hop to create a captivating blend of acoustic rock. Pedwell’s heavy 90s influence combined with his passionate rock vocal often results in comparison to artists like Everlast and Matchbox 20 – whilst Pedwell agrees, he insists his sound is “Definitively-Vancouver”.

Born and raised in Vancouver, Bradley has been performing for 17 years as a singer/songwriter and has released 9 albums independently. In the last year, Pedwell has performed over 160 dates and released 1 EP per month written/recorded/produced entirely himself.
