Kristin Thora and Max Serna are a dynamic live music duo based in British Columbia, blending heartfelt melodies with captivating rhythms. Kristin, from Steveston Richmond, grew up immersed in music. Her father toured as a keyboardist with Burton Cummings, and she started singing, writing songs, dancing, and playing instruments from an early age. Her style mixes country, old soul, rock, and pop, shaped by a rich musical upbringing. Max, originally from Mexico City, brings soulful guitar inspired by blues, Latin rhythms, and classics from the ’70s to ’90s, influenced by Santana, Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and John Mayer. Together, they perform regularly at local music venues and senior care homes, creating warm, engaging shows that connect with audiences of all ages. Their passion for music shines through every performance, bringing community and joy wherever they play.
