Bassist and singer Billy Mendoza https://www.facebook.com/billy.mendoza.336 has teamed up with singer/songwriter/producer Johannes Grames to create a rather compelling blend of songs. The combination of Billy’s sublime fretless bass and Baritone Uke  with the rocking stylings of Johannes’ guitar make for sweet yet gritty & smooth yet funky musical arrangements.   Mendoza, originally from Hawaii, can sound effortlessly like Bono & Sting. He’s contributed to a long list of musical projects, and currently is the lead vocalist for the Steely Dan group ‘Steelin’ in the years’, and the bassist for the ‘R&B all stars’. Live is where it’s at for Mendoza, and it’s as inspiring to hear him perform as it is to see him sweat and hear him laugh.

Johannes Grames, you must know if you love live music and get out to soak it in or dance to it, as Johannes Grames is the Vancouver based guitarist best known as a founding member of the rockin’ thick sound of the Grames Brothers. He works as a professional guitarist, and as such has an impressive repertoire having recorded, toured, performed with many artists including Russell Jackson, Bobby Taylor, Brickhouse, Soulstream, Farrell Spence, and Karin Holness.
