Down n’ Dirty is here to electrify the stage with twang, rhythm, and the raw, unfiltered soul of authentic 50s and 60s Rockabilly and Oldies Rock ‘n’ Roll. With a lineup steeped in musical pedigree and fueled by a passion for the golden age of rock, we bring you a sound that’s sharp as a switchblade and smooth as a leather jacket.

This fiery two-piece band, the brainchild of Darren Harry and Ricky Renouf, is a powerhouse of twangy guitar riffs and booming stand-up bass lines. Together, they channel the spirit of legends like Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, and Carl Perkins, while throwing in a surf-tastic wave of instrumental gems from the likes of The Surfaris. It’s a sonic time machine, and the destination is one heck of a dance party!

Meet the Masters of the Groove: Darren Harry – A virtuosic lead guitarist and vocalist hailing from Ts’kway’laxw (Pavilion) First Nation at the northern tip of St’at’imc Territory, Darren’s career has spanned continents, from the Yukon to Poland. His dazzling fretwork and magnetic stage presence make every performance unforgettable.

Ricky Renouf – A stand-up bass dynamo and vocal powerhouse, Ricky has shared stages across North America and beyond with legends like Prism, James Buddy Rogers, and Jack Semple. His thumping bass lines are the lifeblood of Down n’ Dirty’s infectious sound. Their partnership was forged in mutual admiration and a deep love for the raw energy of vintage rock, culminating in a dynamic duo that lives and breathes Rockabilly.
