BusHucker
BusHucker is a dynamic acoustic duo known for rich vocal harmonies and a driving, rootsy take on rock ‘n roll. Drawing inspiration from the Beatles and Stones, with flashes of Neil Young, Talking Heads, and Carl Perkins, their sound is both familiar and fresh. Veterans of Vancouver’s music scene since the early ’90s (in previous incarnations like the Medicinals and Locos), BusHucker has played legendary venues including The Yale, The Commodore, and The Town Pump. Whether lighting up a local stage or keeping the fire burning at a campfire or kitchen party, their energy is undeniable and their performances heartfelt. Fresh off a successful residency at the Jervis Joint, they’ve just dropped their new single Lipstick Smile—a taste of their long-awaited self-titled EP due out in late 2025.
