Instruments (guitar & banjo, keys), percussive devices, apparatus (chordophones, electrophorus, Idiophones & paraphernalia), gadgets, contraptions (doohickeys & thingamajigs), unintentional trappings, mechanisms (usually their own digits & techniques), occasional seasonal gimmicks, vocal cords, and songs they really like. These two have played in dozens of bands since high school, and they both ended up in prestigious music universities…so they have earned all the notes they play, even the accidentals:)!

Black ‘n Dekker are Rob Blackburn and Melanie Dekker. They like to reinvigorate their own love for live music, by presenting songs from all decades and from Melanie’s albums, with their own impromptu charm. Music starts early at Red Truck Stop LIVE, and that doesn’t mean we won’t go late with these two on stage!
